Cookie policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Fund My Windows uses on this website, what they do and how long they last. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device; we also use your browser’s local storage in the same way for some values.

First-party marketing attribution cookies

When you land on this site, we set first-party wml_* cookies to remember how you found us. They capture marketing attribution — the UTM values in the link you arrived from (source, medium, campaign, term and content) and advertising click identifiers such as a Google gclid or Meta fbc/fbp value — plus the first page you landed on. This lets us attribute your enquiry to the right campaign and measure our advertising. These cookies expire after 90 days, and the same values are also mirrored in your browser’s local storage.

CookiePurposeExpiry
wml_utm_source, wml_utm_medium, wml_utm_campaign, wml_utm_term, wml_utm_contentRemember the campaign that referred you.90 days
wml_gclid, wml_fbc, wml_fbp and other click identifiersAttribute your enquiry to the ad you clicked.90 days
wml_landing_urlRecord the first page you arrived on.90 days

Analytics and tag manager cookies

We use a tag manager to load measurement tools. It is currently switched off, so no analytics or advertising cookies are set yet. When we enable it, this section will be updated to list the cookies those tools use — for example Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*, typically lasting up to two years) and advertising cookies from platforms such as Google or Meta. We will only enable them in line with the law and this policy.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. If you block our wml_* cookies, the website still works — we simply may not be able to attribute your enquiry to a campaign. Guidance for common browsers is available at aboutcookies.org.
